UNIC

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 15 October 2026

This policy explains how UNIC ("UNIC", "we") handles data in the UNIC Ads Platform, our internal advertising system, including Varys, our integration with the TikTok API for Business, and on this website.

Who uses our platform

The UNIC Ads Platform is used only by our own team to manage and measure our own advertising. It is not offered to the public or to other companies. Advertising accounts are connected only through each platform's official authorisation flow, such as TikTok's OAuth.

Data we process from TikTok

We do not access TikTok user content, and we do not receive personal data of TikTok users from the TikTok API for Business.

Conversion measurement

To measure our campaigns we may send conversion events from our own websites to TikTok, such as the event type, time, order value and TikTok click identifier. Where personal identifiers like email or phone are used for matching, they are hashed before they are sent. Customers of our stores are informed about this in the privacy notice of the respective store.

How we use data

We use this data only to run, optimise and measure our own advertising, and to combine aggregated advertising metrics with our own order data for attribution and lifetime value analysis. We do not sell data, share it with third parties for their own purposes, or use it to profile individuals.

Storage and security

Data is stored on servers we control. Access tokens are encrypted at rest with a dedicated key and are never displayed or written to logs. Access is limited to authorised team members.

Retention and deletion

Authorisation data is kept while the authorisation is active and deleted when it is revoked. Authorisation can be revoked at any time in TikTok for Business settings. Reporting data is kept for as long as we need it for financial reporting. Deletion requests can be sent to info@uniclab.app; we handle them within 30 days.

This website

This website does not use cookies, analytics or tracking scripts. Our hosting and network providers may process standard technical request data, such as IP addresses, to deliver and protect the site.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy; the date above shows the current version. Questions: info@uniclab.app.
